<p>Hami Oasis is located in Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The geographical location of the Oasis in the Hami Basin is 42°30′31″N-43°18′37″N,92°27′12″E-94°37′17″E. The Hami Basin oasis consists of 194 oases, with a total area of 1,884.50 km2 (Albers projection) and a total circumference of 1,842.64 km (Lambert projection). Among them, the largest oasis has an area of 1,577.37 km² and a circumference of 700.08 km. The rivers that nourish the oases in the Hami Basin include Yushu Gully, Wudaogou and Dasenshengquan River. The main streams of the three main rivers are 61.35 km, 60.23 km and 59.42 km respectively (Lambert projection). The Mountainous Part of the Hami Basin Rivers Catchment is the upper reaches of the rivers that maintain the existence of the Hami Basin oasis. The geographical location of the catchment area is 42°40′6″N-43°30′48″N, 91°58′29″E-94°50′28″E. The catchment area is 4,570.21 km² and the boundary length is 798.86 km. Among them, 99.28% of the catchment area is in Yizhou District of Hami City, and 0.72% is in Yiwu County of Hami City. Some elevation classification data in the mountainous areas of the Zhuhe River Basin in the Hami Basin includes a total of 8 types. The altitude below 1500 m is one category, and it is divided upwards at intervals of 500 m. The dataset was developed based on Google Earth images, ASTER GDEM 30m data and measured data. The data set includes: (1) boundary data of the oasis in the Hami Basin;(2) water system data that nourish the oasis;(3) partial boundary data of the mountainous areas of the river basins in the Hami Basin;(4) partial elevation classification data of the mountainous areas of the river basins in the Hami Basin. The dataset is stored in.kmz,.shp and.tif data formats and consists of 65 data files with a data volume of 42.1 MB (compressed into 5 files, 27.1 MB). </p>
