<p>The Emin River is an international river. In this data set, the Emin River Oasis only includes the part in China, which is located in Emin County, Tacheng City, Yumin County and Tori County in the Tacheng Administrative Region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The geographical location of the Emin River Oasis is 45°47′15″N-46°58′05″N, 82°44′35″E-84°26′04″E. The Emin River Oasis consists of 30 oases with a total area of 6,845.08 km² (Albers). Among them, the largest oasis covers an area of 6,391.43 km2. The rivers that nourish the Emin River oasis are mainly the Emin River and its tributaries. The main stream of the Emin River (in China) is 244.55 km long. The location of the basin formed by the Emin River system is 45°31′58″N-47°14′04″N, 82°28′20″E-84°47′24″E. This part of the drainage area is 17,851.21 km². The elevations of the basin are divided into 6 categories. The data set includes: (1) oasis boundary data;(2) water system data that nourish the oasis;(3) watershed boundary data; and (4) watershed elevation classification data. The dataset is stored in.kmz,.shp, and.tif data formats and consists of 49 data files with a data volume of 71.40 MB (compressed into 4 files, 23.1 MB). </p>
