<p>Shiyang River Oasis is located in Wuwei City, Jinchang City and Zhangye City in Gansu Province, as well as in Alxa League in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The geographical location of Shiyang River Oasis is 37°24'23"N-39°24'23"N, 101°18'45"E-103°48'43"E. The Shiyang River Oasis consists of 78 oases with a total area of 9,593.75 km² (Albers). Among them, the largest oasis covers an area of 6,016.34 km2. The main rivers that nourish the Shiyang River Oasis are Shiyang River, Xida River and Dongda River, with main streams of 232.59 km, 139.72 km and 129.42 km respectively. The geographical location of the mountainous part of the Shiyang River Basin is 37°09 '22 "N-38°14' 40" N, 101°07 '20 "E-103°28' 06" E. The mountainous part of the basin covers an area of 11,074.73 km2. The elevations of the mountainous part of the basin are divided into 9 categories. The data set includes: (1) oasis boundary data;(2) water system data that nourishes the oasis;(3) boundary data of the mountainous part of the basin; and (4) elevation classification data of the mountainous part of the basin. The dataset is stored in.kmz,.shp and.tif data formats and consists of 63 data files with a data volume of 87.6 MB (compressed into 5 files, 28.5 MB). </p>
