This monograph can be divided into three parts. The first part is the family and genus characteristics and classification system, which describes in detail the morphological commonalities of Chenopodiaceae plants, such as single leaves and alternate flowers, small and mostly single-covered flowers, and the fruits are utricles, etc. Based on the flower structure and fruit shape, the family is divided into Cycloembryinae and Spiroembryinae, covering 44 genera and 223 species in Kazakhstan, focusing on the identification points of dominant genera such as Suaeda, Atriplex, and Chenopodium. The second part is a key to the genus and species, which provides a step-by-step search path based on characteristics such as leaf shape, inflorescence type, fruit appendages, etc., such as "whether the leaves are fleshy","whether the inflorescences are spic-shaped" and "whether the fruits have wings". Characteristics distinguish different species, and attach 237 hand-painted illustrations to show the microstructure of flowers and fruits (such as Salsola's scale arrangement and Haloxylon's leaf sheath shape). The third part is about ecological distribution and economic value, which reveals the adaptive distribution laws of Chenopodiaceae plants in arid ecological areas such as desert grasslands and saline-alkali lands, such as the salt-tolerance mechanism of the halophyte Halostachys, and also evaluates its economic uses, including forage (such as Chenopodium album), medicinal (such as Artemisia's antibacterial ingredients) and ecological sand fixation (such as Haloxy on ammoddron). The full text integrates taxonomic, ecological and applied scientific data to provide a basic reference for plant research and resource utilization in arid regions of Central Asia.
