<p>The author obtained safflower distribution point data through the global biodiversity information network database GBIF, and used ENMTools tool to filter and screen; 19 bioclimatic variables and 3 topography data were obtained from the WorldClim (2.1) database, and 9 soil characteristic data were obtained from the World Soil Database. As environmental variables, they were input into the MaxEnt model for maximum entropy modeling. Combined with GIS, the potential suitable areas of the plant safflower in Xinjiang under current climatic conditions were simulated, and the Xinjiang safflower land suitability evaluation dataset was obtained. The data set includes: (1) Xinjiang safflower land suitability evaluation result data, with a spatial resolution of 30 ";(2) Xinjiang safflower spatial distribution point data (cited data). The data set is stored in.shp,.tif,.xlsx, and.txt formats and consists of 16 data files with a data volume of 231 KB (compressed into 1 file 153 KB). </p>
