<p>This data records annual precipitation data from 150 observation stations in counties (cities) in 14 prefectures of Kazakhstan from 1970 to 2017. </p>
Provided by the Tajikistan Academy of Sciences and the Central Asian Ecology and Environmental Research Center (Dushanbe Branch), and purchased through the "Pan-Third Pole Environmental Change and Green Silk Road Construction" project of the Strategic Pilot Science and Technology Project (Category A) of the China Academy of Sciences (Project No. XDA20000000).
The structure of the raw data is based on the site name as the horizontal field and the year and time as the vertical field, and is stored separately according to 14 worksheets (14 states). After transposition and transformation in EXCEL software, the "Region" field was added to record the names of 14 states, and then processed through data table consolidation and null value processing (null values were replaced with "**") to form a data table. The numerical records in the data have not been changed.
The data was not changed during the collation process.
