<p>This thematic atlas system reflects the natural ecological environment and resource status of Uzbekistan as of around 2007 (mainly from 1930s to 2006), covering multiple topics such as geography, geology, hydrology, climate, ecology, disasters and humanities. The atlas is based on multi-source spatial data and long-term observation records, integrates research results under the framework of UNESCO, and comprehensively presents the country's topography, geological structure, water system and groundwater dynamics, soil and vegetation distribution, desertification and salinization processes, glacier changes, earthquake and debris flow risks, climate change characteristics (precipitation and temperature), air pollution and urbanization impacts, and biodiversity protection patterns (Important bird habitats, nature reserves and ecosystem zoning) and other contents constitute a comprehensive map of the national ecological environment with multiple scales, multiple themes, and combination of time and space.
