This dataset is surface temperature (LST) data for five countries: Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in 2000 and 2010. The dataset contains 3 types: They are: ① Starting from the 97th day of 2000 and 2010 (inclusive), one surface temperature img format file across the five Central Asian countries every 16 days, with a total of 24 raster files;② Data LST2000_setNull.tif and 2010LST_setNull.tif that have been processed with abnormal values (cells with surface temperatures < -100 are set to NoData);③ Two annual average surface temperature data 2000LST_Clip.img and 2010LST_Clip.img format files. This dataset is generated by downscaling the raw data, with a spatial resolution of 250 meters, and adopts the Albers projection coordinate system.

The data source comes from 2000 and 2010 MOD11A2 data downloaded from the MODIS official website. The data contains 8 days of synthetic 1-kilometer resolution surface temperature products. 1. MOD11A2 data on Days 97, 113, 129, 145, 161, 177, 193, 209, 225, 241, and 257 in 2000; 2. MOD11A2 data on Days 97, 113, 129, 145, 161, 177, 193, 209, 225, 241, and 257 in 2010;
The LST data is the MOD11A2 data downloaded from the MODIS official website. After splicing, clipping, projection transformation and other processes, LST data for the specified days are obtained respectively, and then the average surface temperature is obtained; and the abnormal values are processed to obtain vegetation index data with little impact on statistical results.
The obtained data needs to be sorted out and calculated before it can be used. The meteorological observation data and MODIS data in the study area are sorted out and calculated, including blank data, missing data, quality defects, etc. The problematic data are analyzed and processed according to the situation to obtain high-precision data.
