<p>This dataset is the 2000 annual average and 16-day average enhanced vegetation index (EVI) data from five countries in 2000 and 2010 from April 1 to September 31, 2010 in five countries: Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. The data resolution is 250 meters, reflecting the surface vegetation coverage in the area. Compared with NDVI (normalized vegetation index), EVI reduces the impact of background and atmospheric noise. </p>

The data source comes from MODIS 13A2 data from 2000 and 2010.
The data uses MOD13A2 data and goes through processes such as splicing, clipping, and projection transformation to obtain the vegetation index of Central Asia every 16 days from April 1 to September 31, 2000 and 2010, respectively, and then calculates the average vegetation index.
The obtained data needs to be sorted out and calculated before it can be used. The meteorological observation data and MODIS data in the study area are sorted out and calculated, including blank data, missing data, quality defects, etc. The problematic data are analyzed and processed according to the situation to obtain high-precision data.
