<p>This dataset is a standardized chronology of tree ring widths in Central Asia in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Xinjiang in China (MEK, KTK, KZX, AKB, TKU, DDN, BYX). This data is obtained through the data production process of field selection, sample collection, sample pretreatment, width measurement, cross-dating, chronology development and quality control in 2012. The data time range ranges from 1666 to 2014. Each tree-ring chronology describes the name of the data collection site, area name, country, collector, collection site generation, tree species, location (latitude, longitude and altitude), slope direction, slope, chronology length, start year, end year, sample number and statistical characteristics of the chronology (first-order autocorrelation coefficient, standard deviation, average sensitivity). The data entity includes the ring index and sample size for each year. </p>
