<p>From December 8 to 12, 1958, a joint scientific conference on metallogenic maps and predictive maps was scheduled to be held in Almaty. The conference was convened by the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union, the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, the Ministry of Geology and mineral protection of the Soviet Union and the Ministry of Geology and mineral protection of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic. The task of the upcoming joint scientific conference is to study and summarize the experience of the preparation of various scale metallogenic maps and prediction maps widely carried out in the work practice of many geological exploration and scientific research Geological Institutions in the Soviet Union in recent years. This meeting is also held to formulate the most reasonable prediction map and metallogenic map compilation method. The joint scientific conference will be attended by top scientists in China, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Geology and mineral protection of the Soviet Union, the Ministry of Geology and mineral protection of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union and the academies of Sciences of the participating republics, colleges and universities, national economic commissions of economic zones and Geological Institutions Affiliated to other departments. The Preparatory Committee decided to publish all the reports before the meeting, so as to make geologists from all over the world understand the contents of the report as widely as possible, so as to promote the smooth progress of the upcoming meeting. According to the agenda of the joint scientific conference, a total of 27 reports are planned to be heard. In the proceedings of this conference, only 24 reports were published. Three reports were not included in this collection of essays and were not delivered to the publishing house. Among the materials included, four are not complete reports, but only outlines, because the author has not submitted the full report until the beginning of typesetting. The reports of Yette shatarov and ALF Orlova were printed in the first edition. Basically, all reports and outlines were printed without editing and modification, and some reports were subject to a small amount of non principle deletion due to needs. </p>
