This dataset contains an 8-day synthetic grid sequence of surface reflectance covering Xinjiang and surrounding buffer zones, with a spatial resolution of 500 m and a time range from 2000 to 2018. The data includes MOD09A1 bands 1-7: B1 red band (620 - 670 nm), B2 near infrared (841 - 876 nm), B3 blue (459 - 479 nm), B4 green (545 - 565 nm), B5 shortwave infrared 1 (1230 - 1250 nm), B6 shortwave infrared 2 (1628 - 1652 nm), B7 shortwave infrared 3 (2105 - 2155 nm). The original image is a MODIS Sinusoidal projection, which is processed and unified to WGS84 latitude and longitude (EPSG:4326) Catalog organization of data: Contains four data catalogs: Under the origin directory are framed files in the original hdf format, and under the origintif directory are data files in the tif format, which are obtained after the format is converted from the hdf format file. Each framed contains 13 sub-data sets, and each sub-data set is stored as a separate tif format file; under the mos directory is a spliced data file, which is composed of framed data from the four bands of red, near red, blue and green; under the rgb directory is a color composite data file, which is synthesized using the three bands of near red, red and green to highlight vegetation information. This data is suitable for extracting remote sensing indices such as Xinjiang vegetation index (NDVI/EVI), water body index (NDWI/MNDWI), bare soil and urban index, etc., and can also be used for snow cover identification, drought and desertification monitoring, oasis-desert transition zone phenology analysis, ecosystem quality assessment, and long-time series land cover and ecological parameter inversion.

Using NASA MODIS/Terra MOD09A1 (MODIS/Terra Surface Reflection 8-Day L3 Global 500m SIN Grid) as data source
Taking NASA MODIS/Terra MOD09A1 (MODIS/Terra Surface Reflective 8-Day L3 Global 500m SIN Grid) as the data source, it is processed through format conversion, projection conversion, band extraction, frame splicing, and color synthesis.
