ASTER GDEM 30-meter resolution elevation data comes from NASA. ASTER GDEM data uses UTM/WGS84 projection, and the data format is img grid image. The data range ranges from-300 to 7445 meters, with a vertical accuracy of 20 meters and a horizontal accuracy of 30 meters. This data is DEM data ranging from 45° to 108 ° east longitude and 32° to 56 ° north latitude in the five Central Asian countries in 2000.

SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) 30-meter resolution elevation data is jointly measured by NASA and the Department of Defense's National Bureau of Surveying and Mapping (NIMA). The data volume of radar images acquired by the SRTM system is about 9.8 trillion bytes. After more than two years of data processing, a digital terrain elevation model (DEM), which is now SRTM3 terrain product data, has been produced.
Preprocessing: Use Arcmap10.2 software to open DEM elevation data, and get DEM data with normal altitude values (-227 - 7050 meters) through grid calculation and reclassification calculation. The data is obtained through clipping the borders of the five Central Asian countries. DEM rendering processing: Hillshade data (Zfactor=5) is generated from the pretreated DEM data, and the Hillshade data and DEM data are superimposed to generate DEM rendering. The rendering can be reprocessed by the user according to his or her needs.
This dataset is processed using data from ASTER GDEM Version 1 (V1) and is a digital elevation data product with a global spatial resolution of 30 meters. Due to the influence of straight lines, pits, elevations, dams or other anomalies caused by cloud coverage and boundary stacking, local areas of the original data of the first version of ASTER GDEM have abnormalities. Therefore, the digital elevation data products processed by ASTER GDEMV1 have data anomalies in individual areas, which can be used in conjunction with global 90-meter resolution digital elevation data products.
