<p>The evolution of Lake Aibinur is divided into four periods. The first period from 1950 to 1975 was the data, and the lake shrank sharply. During the second period (1975-1995), the lake area was relatively stable, reaching 476 square kilometers in 1995, the lowest value on record. In 2003, it was the largest lake area since 1995, reaching 915 square kilometers, and then dropped to 428 square kilometers in 2010. </p>
