<p>This data includes basic geographical parameter indicators of rivers, river classification system, core hydropower indicators and characteristic parameter indicators of hydropower stations. 1. Basic geographical parameters include: (1) watershed characteristics [watershed name, number of rivers/channels, river section length, water catchment area];(2) Hydrological parameters [runoff (average annual flow, growing period flow, annual total)), reservoir capacity (total storage capacity/dead storage capacity)]; 2. Resource classification system: (1) River classification [divided into classes I-VIII according to power generation (gradient of 1 billion kWh)];(2) Basin distribution [proportion of installed capacity in Aral Sea, Syr Darya and other river basins];(3) Scale statistics [proportion of rivers in installed capacity range (> 500,000, 100,000 - 500,000 kW, etc.)] reveal the law of resource distribution. 3. Core indicators of hydropower: (1) installed capacity [total installed capacity, interval distribution (such as> 500,000 kW level)];(2) power generation capacity [total power generation, multi-year average values, theoretical reserves];(3) Energy efficiency density [three-dimensional calculation based on length (kW/km), area (kW/km²), and runoff (kW/km³)]; 4. Characteristic parameters of hydropower station: (1) Reservoir characteristics [water level parameters (normal/dead water level), storage capacity classification (total storage capacity/dead storage capacity)];(2) Power station attributes [name, cascade installed configuration, power generation]. </p>

The data comes from the monograph "ˇ одн ы е р е сур с ы Кы ргызс т а н а н а с о в р е м е н н о м а н т апе"(Current Situation of Water Resources in Kyrgyzstan) published in 2007 and provided by the National Institute of Hydrology of Kyrgyzstan.
