This collection describes the relationship between climate and multi-year freezing of rocks, the structure of permafrost layers in different regions of permafrost zones, rock temperature dynamics and evaluation of the impact of snow on them, the volume evolution of mountain glaciers, the mechanism of glacier movement and its role as ice erosion camps, the characteristics of avalanche dynamic types, remote sensing geographical research methods and their applications in solving permafrost and glaciology tasks. This collection is aimed at permafrost scientists, glaciologists, geographers, hydrogeologists and professionals working in permafrost regions.
