<p>In order to formulate and implement measures for the preparation and implementation of the national plan of the Kyrgyz Republic for the International Year of Mountains, an international conference on "Mountain Research and Mountain Life" was held. The conference was dedicated to studying historical geology, regional and local mineral formation laws, geological and ecological processes, environmental protection and rational utilization of natural resources, as well as ecological education issues. This collection contains conference materials and is aimed at scientific research and engineering technicians, graduate students and college students. </p>
