<p>This book is the first volume of "Spore Flora" compiled under the auspices of the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.С. Compiled by Nevodovsky's posthumous work, it systematically collects the morphological characteristics, host plants and geographical distribution data of 351 species of rust in Kazakhstan, including 257 author's hand-drawn microstructure maps. The content focuses on the needs for agricultural disease prevention and control in the context of the Soviet Land Reclamation Movement (since 1954), with special emphasis on the harm mechanism of rust on grains and feed crops. Attached to the book are addenda to newly discovered species in the 1950s and a revised classification key. </p>

This book is the collection of the Documentation and Information Center of the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, China Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Center).
