This series contains research papers on rivers, canyons, lakes and debris flows, which provide water volume characteristics, new methods for runoff calculation and prediction; and discuss the runoff formation conditions in the plain of Kazakhstan and some characteristics of mountain river water conditions. In the paper on debris flow, its formation conditions, dynamic characteristics and debris flow prevention measures are analyzed. Based on experimental work on artificial debris flows, the formula used to determine the flood velocity of debris flows is analyzed and evaluated. Methods and plans for studying debris flow based on remaining traces are recommended.
