<p>This book is a monograph on plant ecology on the vegetation types and feed value of licorice semi-desert in Azerbaijan. Starting with the natural geographical conditions, the book systematically discusses the topography, geology, climate, soil and hydrological characteristics of the semi-desert distribution area of licorice, and then introduces the morphological structure, origin, geographical distribution and ecological and biological characteristics of licorice in detail. On this basis, the author conducted a phytocoenological analysis of the flora composition, community structure, life form, development rhythm, classification and succession laws of the licorice community, and evaluated the pasture significance and grass yield of the licorice semi-desert from the perspective of feed resources., feed plant composition and the impact of grazing on the community. The book reveals the status and utilization potential of licorice semi-desert as a forage grassland, and provides scientific basis for pasture management and improvement in arid and semi-arid areas. </p>
