<p>This collection of essays is published to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic and contains special articles reflecting the achievements of the Republic in socialist economic construction. The content covers changes in industrial layout, animal husbandry development (Almaty Prefecture), feed resources in cotton-growing areas, climate characteristics, geomorphological evolution (neotectonic movement on the northern slope of Alatao, Junggar), modern glaciation (Baska River Basin), and Research on lake hydrobiology in North Kazakhstan (Kameshlov Depression), etc. It also includes a special analysis of the comprehensive development of resources in the Tenggiz-Nura Lake Group and the lakes in the Kokshetau area (Bakuryan Lake and Ashkol Lake). </p>
