<p>This paper collects rich field information on natural elements (topography, climate, hydrology) and geographical complexes in arid areas of Kazakhstan (such as the Mangisstau Peninsula, central and southern Kazakhstan, etc.). The content includes research on economic assessment and utilization of climate, water resources and land resources, covering fields such as geomorphology, climatology, natural geography and economic geography. In addition, topics such as the origin of lakes, hydrochemical characteristics, and distribution of trace elements in soil were also discussed. </p>
