Coal, oil, iron ore, copper ore, lead ore and other metal ores-all minerals known to mankind are found in our country.Comrade Stalin has always attached great importance to our country's richest natural resources. He regards the possession, exploration and development of these resources as one of the most important conditions for the victory of economic construction and the consolidation of national defense. Stalin pointed out in his 1931 speech "On the Tasks of Economic Workers":"In the history of countries, regions and militaries, it has often been the case that all possibilities for success and victory are present, but these possibilities are wasted because leaders fail to discover them and will not use them. As a result, the army fails." Comrade Stalin went on to point out the possibility of realizing the established economic plan:"What are these possibilities and what conditions need to be in place to make these possibilities a reality?First, the country needs sufficient natural resources: iron ore, coal, oil, grain, cotton. Do we? Yes. More than any other country. Take Ural, for example, which gathers such a rich combination of resources that no country in the world can find. Ore, coal, oil, grain-the Urals have everything "(Stalin, The Question of Leninism, 11th edition, pp. 323-324).
