%X This book describes the landforms of various mountain countries in the Soviet Union based on the cartography of morphological structures and morphological carvings. The description of the mountain structure and morphological carvings follows a unified outline and is equipped with original map illustrations. The last part of the monograph expounds the most important general laws of the Soviet landscape. Materials provided by authors who participated in the preparation of sketches of various mountain maps were used in the paper.
