%X This dataset has parametric attributes consistent with NPP-VIIRS night light data and data quality similar to NPP-VIIRS. In terms of time series consistency, the first set of new night light data set with a global resolution of 500 meters can truly reflect the time series changes of population and light brightness at different scales, and even reflect the global economic depression between 2007 and 2010. The new night light data set solves the problem that two sets of night light data, DMSP-OLS and NPP-VIIRS, cannot be used simultaneously, providing a new data source for related fields such as urban problem research.
