Some articles discussed the problem of water balance in irrigated areas, especially the evaporation on different underlying surfaces and its relationship with the depth of groundwater table. Changes in the water volume and mineralization of the Syr Darya River and the impact of human activities on the hydrography of the Amu Darya River Delta were studied. The second group of articles in the collection focuses on the study of snow cover, precipitation, soil moisture and evaporation in mountainous areas. This series is open to scientific researchers, designers of soil improvement projects and students majoring in hydrology.
