%X This collection contains many research results on soil characteristics and improvement and utilization in different regions of Kazakhstan. The research areas cover typical areas such as southeastern Karba, Karaganda Oblast, Aral Sea region and ancient alluvial plains. The paper discussed the changes in the properties of wasteland soil under the influence of farming, the agricultural improvement characteristics of saline-alkali soil and its utilization potential in regional agricultural production.
