It is a special collection of works in memory of the famous geographer Alexander Sergeyevich Balkov (Але к с андр С е рге вич Ба р ков). The beginning is mainly based on Balkov's autobiographical memoirs and life introduction, reviewing his academic path as a scholar, teacher and geography educator.
