%X "Soil of the Kamchatka Peninsula Plain" is an academic monograph published in 1959 on the investigation and research of soil resources on the Kamchatka Peninsula. It systematically records the local soil types, formation processes, distribution characteristics and agricultural utilization conditions. This document is based on the large-scale field survey and experimental analysis carried out by the Kamchatka Expedition Team of the Soviet Academy of Sciences from 1935 to 1938. It focuses on the study of special soil types formed under the influence of volcanic activity, and expounds the occurrence, classification, geographical distribution and agricultural production characteristics in the Kamchatka region.This dataset is a digital resource of the collection of documents. After scanning, OCR recognition and standardized processing, the original publication content is completely preserved. The data can provide important historical data for volcanic soil science, soil geography, cold region ecology, agricultural resource development and natural environment research in the Russian Far East. It can also provide basic reference for conducting research on regional soil evolution, land resource use and environmental change.
