%X This book is dedicated to the formation and structure of lake shorelines, and examines lake shorelines in the context of the overall development history of the hilly terrain of Kazakhstan (especially the evolution history of the water system network). Studies have shown that there are laws of lake evolution in the context of climate fluctuations. A large number of examples show the structural characteristics of shoreline composed of different rocks, and determine the dependence of shoreline elements on the particle size and shape of coastal sediments. The book also discusses the similarities and differences between ocean and lake shorelines, pointing out that lake hydrodynamic conditions have a greater impact on the formation of their shorelines. A dynamic classification method for lakes is proposed, which can judge the humidity degree of a watershed based on the shoreline structure.
