AB  - This book is a systematic textbook or professional reference book on solid combustible minerals (humus coal), which comprehensively covers all aspects from genetic theory and research methods to geological distribution and industrial applications. The book first expounds the genetic basis of solid combustible minerals based on the decomposition process of organic matter and the accumulation types of original substances, and systematically introduces its microscopic research, chemical analysis and technical testing methods. Subsequently, the characteristics, classification and metamorphism of various types of coal such as peat, lignite, bituminous coal, anthracite, and oil shale are discussed in detail according to the genetic types such as sapropite and humus coal.
