The Qaidam River, Golmud River and Hongshui River are the main rivers that nourish the oases in the Qaidam Basin. Their lengths are 477.00 km, 421.72 km and 309.53 km respectively. The geographical location of the oasis in the Qaidam Basin is 35°51'55\"N-39°7'1\"N, 88°21'00\"E-98°36'55\"E. The Qaidam Basin oasis consists of 45 oases with a total area of 39,051.06 km2, accounting for 14.16% of the total area of the catchment area.
