The characteristics, development history, structural structure and the most important active faults of the crustal structure were investigated. The spatial distribution of strong earthquakes and destructive earthquakes, the tectonic conditions under which they occur and the distribution of intensity in the region are described. The empirical results of dividing seismic active zones by comprehensive seismotectonic methods are described in detail, which are used as the basis for compiling detailed seismic zoning maps.
