Л.С. Berg's research on Soviet landscapes is one of his most important academic contributions to geography. The landscape zone theory he founded examined geographical elements such as climate, topography, waters, animals, plants, and soil as an organic whole, laying a solid theoretical foundation for regional natural geography research. Based on Berg's classic book "Nature of the Soviet Union", this book briefly and clearly displays the basic characteristics and regular replacement of different latitudes and mountainous landscape zones in the Soviet Union. The book also covers the geographical distribution of Taiga animals and other aspects, which helps readers form a more complete understanding of the integrity of the geographical environment. This article can be used as a reference for geography researchers, teachers and nature lovers.
